Hey there and welcome to AV Designs HTX!  My name is Angie and I am the owner of AV Designs HTX.  I am so excited to have you here! AV Designs HTX is a woman-owned and Latina-owned small business located in the heart of  Downtown Houston, TX.

A little about myself: I am happily married to my soulmate and have three wonderful kids. AV Designs HTX came to life at the beginning of Covid, after I was laid-off from the company I worked for after 15+ years.  I started with making t-shirts for a group of Marine moms, just like me to show our pride for our sons and daughters serving our great country. Then my husband and I decided to go all in and turn my hobby into a small business.  With the support of family and friends I get to share my products with all of you.  Thank you for joining me on my journey into owning and growing my own business.

Growing up in a Mexican household of entrepreneurs I got to see my grandfather carve wood into beautiful keepsake handmade furniture.  My mother made ceramics and loved to sew, as a kid she made a lot our clothes. I remember hand painting ceramics with my mom when I was younger and then in high school making my own homecoming mums.

I have always loved the idea of handcrafted items, and now I get to make (cositas bonitas) beautiful things for all of you.  Here on my website you will find a variety of fashionable and and fun items for the whole family.  Thank you for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to do what I love and make cositas bonitas for all of you.
